Classic Gin & Tonic (single serving)
Old Fashioned (single serving)
Neat Pour – Whiskey or Cognac
Vodka Martini (single serving)
Method
Classic Gin & Tonic (single serving)
- 1
- 2
Build drink
Pour 2 oz premium London Dry gin over the ice. Slowly top with 4 oz chilled tonic water poured down the side of the glass to preserve carbonation.
- 3
Finish & garnish
Gently stir once with a bar spoon (1 rotation). Squeeze a lime wedge over the drink, rub the peel around the rim if desired, then drop the wedge in. Optionally add 1 dash Angostura bitters for aromatic depth.
Old Fashioned (single serving)
- 4
Build base
Place 0.25 oz simple syrup into an Old Fashioned (rocks) glass. Add 2 dashes Angostura bitters.
- 5
Add spirit and ice
Pour 2 oz premium bourbon or rye whiskey into the glass. Add one large ice cube to minimize dilution.
- 6
Stir & garnish
Stir gently for 20–30 seconds to chill and integrate the syrup and bitters. Express an orange peel over the drink to release oils and wipe the rim with the peel, then drop it into the glass.
Neat Pour – Whiskey or Cognac
- 7
Glassware & pour
Use a tulip glass, Glencairn, or a short snifter warmed in your hands. Pour 2 oz of the premium spirit neat.
- 8
Optional dilution
If desired, add 1 teaspoon of water to open aromas and flavor — add slowly and smell between drops to find the preferred balance. Sip slowly to appreciate the finish.
Vodka Martini (single serving)
- 9
Chill mixing glass and glassware
Fill a mixing glass or shaker with ice to fully chill it, and place a chilled martini or coupe glass in the freezer or fill briefly with ice water to chill.
- 10
Mix
Add 2.5 oz premium vodka and 0.5 oz dry vermouth to the mixing glass filled with ice. Stir briskly for 20–30 seconds (for a clear, silky martini) or shake for 8–10 seconds if you prefer a more aerated, colder drink.
- 11
Strain & garnish
Discard ice water from the chilled serving glass. Double-strain the mixture into the chilled glass. Express a lemon twist over the surface and drop it in, or garnish with a single olive on a pick.
