Method
Prepare Burger Patties
Mix Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix gently until combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
Form Patties
Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about 3/4 inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent it from puffing up while cooking.
Cook Burger Patties
Cook Patties
Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) for medium doneness. If using cheese, add a slice on top of each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.
