Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Slow Cook the Corned Beef

In a slow cooker, place the corned beef brisket and pour in the Hose amber beer. Cook on low for 8 hours or until the meat is tender.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Sandwich

Once the corned beef is cooked, remove it from the slow cooker and chop it into bite-sized pieces. In a skillet, lightly toast the slices of marbled rye bread.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Sandwich

On four slices of toasted rye bread, layer the chopped corned beef, sauerkraut, and a generous drizzle of thousand island dressing. Top with shredded Swiss cheese.

  4. 4

    Melt the Cheese

Place the assembled sandwiches under a broiler for 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove from the broiler and top with the remaining slices of rye bread. Cut in half and serve immediately.
