Method
Baking the Cake
Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare Cake Batter
In a large mixing bowl, combine the vanilla cake mix, eggs, water, and birthday cake milk. Beat the mixture with an electric mixer on medium speed for 2-3 minutes until well combined and smooth.
Pour Batter into Pans
Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans. Divide the batter evenly between the two pans.
Bake the Cake
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool the Cakes
Remove the cakes from the oven and let them cool in the pans for 10 minutes. Then, turn them out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
Assembling the Cake
Layer the Cake
Once the cakes are completely cooled, place one layer on a serving plate. Spread a layer of whipped cream on top.
Add Ice Cream
Scoop the ice cream and place it on top of the whipped cream layer. You can slightly soften the ice cream for easier spreading.
Add Second Cake Layer
Place the second cake layer on top of the ice cream.
Frost the Cake
Spread whipped cream over the top and sides of the cake for frosting.
Decorate with Sprinkles
Generously sprinkle the top and sides of the cake with colorful sprinkles.
