Preparation
- 1
Rinse the Edamame
Place the edamame pods in a colander and rinse them under cold running water to remove any dirt or impurities.
- 2
Boil Water
In a large pot, bring water to a rolling boil. You will need enough water to fully submerge the edamame pods.
- 3
Steam the Edamame
Once the water is boiling, add the edamame pods to the pot. Cover with a lid and let them steam for about 5-7 minutes, or until the pods are bright green and tender.
- 4
Drain the Edamame
Using a colander, carefully drain the edamame pods and let them cool for a minute.
- 5
Season with Sea Salt
Transfer the steamed edamame to a serving bowl and sprinkle with sea salt. Toss gently to ensure even coating.
