Drizzle 1–2 tablespoons of chocolate syrup around the inside rim of two chilled glasses for a decorative touch.

In a blender, combine 2 cups vanilla ice cream, 1 cup whole milk, 2 tablespoons malted milk powder, 1 tablespoon cocoa powder, 2 teaspoons granulated sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract. Blend on high until smooth and thick, about 30–45 seconds.

If the malt is too thick, add a splash more milk and blend briefly until the desired consistency is reached.
