- 1
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 2
Set up three dredging stations: (A) a shallow bowl with flour, cornstarch, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper; (B) a bowl with beaten egg and milk; (C) a bowl with breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese.
- 3
Pat the chicken tenders dry with paper towels.
- 4
Dredge each chicken tender in the seasoned flour mixture, coating evenly and tapping off any excess.
- 5
Dip the floured tenders into the egg wash, allowing excess to drip off.
- 6
Roll the tenders in the breadcrumb–Parmesan mixture, pressing gently to ensure a full coating adheres.
- 7
Place the coated tenders on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer. Do not crowd; leave space between each piece.
- 8
Bake for 12–15 minutes, then flip the tenders and bake an additional 4–7 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the crust is golden and crisp.
