Base Hard Seltzer
Fruit & Flavor Add-ins
Garnish & Finishing
Method
Prepare Glass
- 1
- 2
Fill a highball or Collins glass with large ice cubes. Large ice slows dilution and keeps the seltzer fizzy longer.
Mixing the Cocktail
- 3
Build
In a chilled pint glass or shaker (no ice needed for this build), combine fresh lime juice (0.5 oz), fresh grapefruit juice (1 oz), hibiscus syrup (0.5 oz) and elderflower liqueur (0.25 oz, optional). Stir briefly to integrate.
- 4
- 5
Give the drink one gentle stir (1–2 turns) with a bar spoon to combine without flattening the seltzer.
Garnish & Serve
- 6
Float the thin grapefruit wheel on top and tuck the lime wedge on the rim. If you rimmed the glass, adjust garnish placement so it doesn't fall into the rimmed area.
- 7
Serve immediately with a straw or short stirring spoon so guests can re-stir before sipping if desired.
