Preparation

  1. 1

    Wash and Tear Romaine Lettuce

Rinse the romaine lettuce under cold water to remove any dirt or debris. Shake off excess water and tear the leaves into bite-sized pieces. Place them in a large salad bowl.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Dressing

In a small mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, minced garlic (crushed), and Worcestershire sauce. Whisk until the dressing is well blended and emulsified.

  3. 3

    Season the Dressing

Add salt and black pepper to the dressing according to your taste preference. Mix well.

Assembly

  1. 4

    Combine the Ingredients

Pour the prepared dressing over the torn romaine lettuce in the salad bowl. Toss gently to coat the leaves evenly with the dressing.

  2. 5

    Add Cheese and Croutons

Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the dressed lettuce. Add the croutons on top.

  3. 6

    Serve

Toss the salad gently one last time to distribute the cheese and croutons. Serve immediately for the best crunch.
