Brew the Tea

Boil Water
In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil.

Steep Tea
Remove the boiling water from heat and add 4 black tea bags. Allow the tea to steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on your desired strength.

Remove Tea Bags
After steeping, carefully remove the tea bags and discard them.
Sweeten the Tea (optional)

If you prefer sweet tea, add 1 cup of granulated sugar or honey to the warm tea and stir until dissolved.
Add Flavorings

Add 1 cup of fresh lemon juice and 1 cup of fresh mint leaves to the brewed tea. Stir well to combine.
Chill and Serve

Allow the tea to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour until chilled.

In serving glasses, add 2 cups of ice cubes and a few lemon slices.
