Prepare the Salsa

Combine Ingredients
In a medium bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, finely chopped onion, and chopped cilantro.

Add Lime Juice and Salt
Pour in the lime juice and add salt. Mix everything together until well combined.

Chill Salsa
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Assemble the Nachos

Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).

Layer Tortilla Chips
Spread the tortilla chips in a single layer on a large baking sheet.

Add Cheese and Jalapeños
Evenly sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the tortilla chips, followed by the sliced jalapeños.

Bake Nachos
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve

Remove from Oven
Carefully remove the nachos from the oven and let them cool for a minute.

Serve the nachos hot with the chilled salsa on the side for dipping.
