Wings
Chipotle Ranch Dipping Sauce
Method
Preparing the Wings
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
- 2
Prepare the Wings
In a large bowl, toss the jumbo chicken wings with olive oil, dry ranch seasoning, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
- 3
Arrange on Rack
Place the seasoned wings in a single layer on the wire rack on the baking sheet. This will allow air to circulate around the wings for crispiness.
- 4
Bake the Wings
Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
- 5
Prepare Fresh Jalapeños
While the wings are baking, slice the fresh jalapeños. You can remove the seeds for less heat or keep them for extra spiciness.
Making the Chipotle Ranch Dipping Sauce
- 6
Combine Ingredients
In a medium bowl, mix together the ranch dressing, chipotle peppers (finely chopped), lime juice, garlic powder, and salt to taste.
- 7
Blend (Optional)
For a smoother sauce, you can blend the sauce in a food processor until desired consistency is reached.
- 8
Chill
Refrigerate the chipotle ranch dipping sauce for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.
