- 1
Prepare glass
Select a chilled copper mug or a highball glass. Fill the vessel generously with ice cubes or crushed ice to the top to keep the drink cold and fizzy.
- 2
Measure and add liqueur
Pour 2 oz Bärenjäger Honey Liqueur over the ice.
- 3
Add lime juice and stir
Add 1/2 oz fresh lime juice. Using a long bar spoon, stir the liqueur and lime juice briefly (4–6 gentle strokes) to combine and slightly chill.
- 4
Top with ginger beer
Slowly pour or top with 4 oz ginger beer. Pour gently over the back of the spoon or down the side of the glass if you want to preserve more carbonation; give one or two gentle stirs to integrate without flattening.
- 5
Garnish and serve
Garnish with a lime wedge on the rim and a fresh mint sprig tucked into the ice. Optionally, slap the mint once between your palms to release aroma before placing it in the drink. Serve immediately with a straw or short stirring spoon.
