Method
Cooking the Pasta
- 1
Boil the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the bowtie pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes.
- 2
Drain and Rinse
Once cooked, drain the pasta and rinse it under cold water to stop the cooking process and cool it down.
Preparing the Vegetables
- 3
Chop the Carrots
Peel the carrots and cut them into small, bite-sized pieces or julienne them for a finer texture.
- 4
Prepare the Roasted Red Peppers
If using whole roasted red peppers, slice them into strips. If using jarred, simply drain and chop them into small pieces.
Mixing the Salad
- 5
Combine Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled bowtie pasta, chopped carrots, and roasted red peppers.
- 6
Add Dressing
Pour the Caesar dressing over the pasta and vegetable mixture. Toss gently to coat all ingredients evenly.
Serving
- 7
Garnish and Serve
If desired, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh parsley on top of the salad before serving. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
