Pasta

Method

Cooking Pasta

  1. 1

    Cook the Bowtie Pasta

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the bowtie pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Preparing Chicken and Vegetables

  1. 2

    Sauté Chicken

In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken breast and season with salt and black pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is browned and cooked through.

  2. 3

    Add Mushrooms and Sun-Dried Tomatoes

Add the sliced mushrooms and chopped sun-dried tomatoes to the skillet. Sauté for an additional 3-4 minutes until the mushrooms are tender.

Making the Cream Sauce

  1. 4

    Prepare the Cream Sauce

Lower the heat and add the minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Combining Ingredients

  1. 5

    Combine Pasta and Sauce

Add the cooked bowtie pasta to the skillet and toss until the pasta is evenly coated in the sun-dried tomato cream sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
