Method

Prepare the Filling

  1. 1

    Cook the Duck Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the duck bacon until crispy. Remove from heat, drain on paper towels, and chop into small pieces.

  2. 2

    Prepare Vegetables

Dice the red bell pepper and chop the green onions. If using frozen corn, thaw it first. In a mixing bowl, combine the duck bacon, corn, bell pepper, green onions, and cream cheese. Mix until well combined.

Assemble the Wontons

  1. 3

    Fill the Wontons

Place a wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the filling into the center of the wrapper. Moisten the edges with water and fold the wrapper over to form a triangle, pressing out any air. Seal the edges tightly.

  2. 4

    Repeat

Repeat the filling and folding process with the remaining wonton wrappers and filling.

Cook the Wontons

  1. 5

    Fry the Wontons

In a deep skillet or frying pan, heat oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, fry the wontons in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes on each side. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Prepare Dipping Sauce

  1. 6

    Mix Sauce Ingredients

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, and sesame oil until well combined.
