Mixing

    Combine Ingredients

    In a mixing glass, combine 1 oz of bourbon, 0.5 oz of sweet vermouth, and 0.5 oz of Aperol.

    Add Bitters

    Add 2 dashes of Angostura bitters to the mixing glass.

    Ice and Stir

    Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir the mixture for about 30 seconds until well chilled.

Garnishing

    Prepare the Glass

    Strain the mixture into an old-fashioned glass filled with fresh ice.

    Garnish

    Twist a piece of orange peel over the drink to release its oils, then drop the peel into the glass as garnish.
