Directions

1

Prepare the Clams

Clean the clams under cold running water, scrubbing the shells to remove any dirt or sand. Discard any clams that are open and do not close when tapped.

2

Sauté the Garlic

In a large pot or skillet, heat the extra virgin olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute, being careful not to burn it.

3

Add Wine and Tomatoes

Pour in the white wine and add the cherry tomatoes. Bring them to a gentle simmer.

4

Add Clams

Add the cleaned clams to the pot. Cover and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the clams have opened up. Discard any clams that remain closed.

5

Season and Serve

Stir in the chopped parsley and thyme, then season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve immediately with crusty bread.
