Counter Culture Dinner for Two

Wash and chop seasonal vegetables into bite-sized pieces. Marinate the chosen protein with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Set aside.

Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients

In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the seasonal vegetables and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until tender. Add fresh herbs towards the end for flavor.

Step 2: Sauté the Vegetables

In another skillet, heat the remaining olive oil. Cook the marinated protein until it reaches the desired doneness (approximately 3-5 minutes per side for chicken/fish).

Step 3: Cook the Protein

Dice the seasonal fruit and toss it with a tablespoon of balsamic vinegar to create a refreshing salad.

Step 4: Prepare the Fruit Salad

Plate the sautéed vegetables and protein elegantly. Add a side of fruit salad and serve with slices of artisan bread drizzled with olive oil.

Step 5: Serve
