Method
Bucket & Beverage
- 1
Chill prep
If bottles are at room temperature, place them upright in the refrigerator for 30–60 minutes beforehand if possible. For immediate service, proceed with ice bath method below.
- 2
Place the metal bucket on a stable surface. Add half of the ice (about 1 kg) into the bucket to create a bed for the bottles.
- 3
Pour the cold water (500 ml) over the ice, then sprinkle the sea salt evenly across the ice-water mixture. The salt lowers the freezing point and chills bottles faster and helps keep the ice slushy.

Arrange 2–3 lemon wedges on the rim of the bucket or tucked into the ice so guests can squeeze them into their beer if desired.

- 9
Keep sauces chilled until service if prepared in advance.
Serving accoutrements

Before presenting, wipe any excess water from the outside of the bucket with a clean towel to prevent puddles. Place tongs or a long-handled spoon beside the bucket for hygienic bottle removal.
