Cook the vegetables
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and cook for about 3-4 minutes until softened. Add the minced garlic and diced carrots, cooking for an additional 5 minutes.

Brown the meat
Add the ground lamb and ground beef to the skillet. Cook, breaking up the meat with a spoon, until browned, about 8-10 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Add peas and season
Stir in the frozen peas, thyme, rosemary, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

Assemble the pie
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). In a baking dish, spread the meat filling evenly. Top with the mashed potatoes, smoothing it out with a spatula.

Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.

Cool and serve
