Prepare the Coffee Mixture

Brew the Coffee
Brew 1 cup of strong coffee and let it cool to room temperature.

Mix Coffee and Liqueur
In a shallow dish, combine the brewed coffee with 2 tablespoons of coffee liqueur. Set aside.
Make the Mascarpone Mixture

Whisk Egg Yolks and Sugar
In a mixing bowl, whisk together 3 egg yolks and 3 tablespoons of granulated sugar until the mixture is pale and slightly thickened.

Add Mascarpone and Vanilla
Add 1 cup of mascarpone cheese and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract to the egg mixture. Mix until smooth and well combined.

Whip the Cream
In a separate bowl, whip 1 cup of heavy cream until stiff peaks form.

Fold in the Whipped Cream
Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully incorporated.
Assemble the Tiramisu

Dip Ladyfingers
Quickly dip each ladyfinger cookie into the coffee mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not mushy.

Layer the Ingredients
In a rectangular dish, layer half of the soaked ladyfingers at the bottom. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture evenly over the ladyfingers.

Repeat Layers
Add another layer of soaked ladyfingers followed by the remaining mascarpone mixture.

Chill the Dessert
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

Serve
Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder for garnish. Cut into squares and enjoy your homemade tiramisu!
