Cook the Meat
Add the ground beef and Italian sausage to the skillet. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon, about 8-10 minutes.
- 4
Make the Sauce
Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Let it simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Ricotta Mixture Preparation

Prepare Ricotta Mixture

Place 4 lasagna noodles over the sauce. Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the noodles, followed by a layer of meat sauce, and a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese.

Continue Layering
Repeat the layering process: noodles, ricotta mixture, meat sauce, and mozzarella cheese until all ingredients are used up, finishing with a layer of meat sauce and mozzarella cheese on top.

Bake Covered
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
- 11
Bake Uncovered
Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
