Chicken Piccata Ingredients

Method

Chicken Piccata Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. Dredge each piece in flour, shaking off any excess.

  2. 2

    Cook the Chicken

In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter. Add chicken breasts and cook until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove chicken and set aside.

  3. 3

    Sauté Garlic and Add Ingredients

In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add artichoke hearts and capers, cooking for 2-3 minutes.

  4. 4

    Make the Sauce

Pour in lemon juice and white wine, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Let it simmer for 5 minutes.

  5. 5

    Finish the Dish

Return chicken to the skillet, cooking for an additional 3-4 minutes until heated through. Stir in remaining butter and garnish with parsley before serving.
