Cooking Pasta

Boil Water
Bring a large pot of water to a boil.

Salt Water
Add 1 tablespoon of salt to the boiling water.

Cook Bucatini
Add the bucatini pasta to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions until al dente.

Reserve Pasta Water
Reserve 200 ml of pasta cooking water before draining the pasta.

Drain Pasta
Drain the pasta and set it aside.
Making Sauce

Combine Cheese and Pepper
In a large mixing bowl, combine the grated Grana Padana cheese and freshly cracked black pepper.

Make Creamy Sauce
Gradually add the reserved pasta cooking water to the cheese mixture, stirring continuously to create a creamy sauce.

Toss Pasta with Sauce
Add the drained bucatini to the bowl with the cheese sauce, and toss well to coat the pasta evenly.

Adjust Sauce Consistency
If the sauce is too thick, add more pasta cooking water until you reach the desired consistency.
