Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Begin by washing the spring mix thoroughly under cold water. Pat dry with paper towels and place it in a large mixing bowl.

  2. 2

    Prep the Cherry Tomatoes

Slice the cherry tomatoes in half and add them to the bowl with the spring mix.

  3. 3

    Boil the Eggs

Place the eggs in a pot and cover them with water. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat and cover. Let sit for 12 minutes. Once done, cool in cold water, peel, and slice them.

  4. 4

    Prepare Gorgonzola Cheese

Crumble the gorgonzola cheese into small pieces and set aside.

  5. 5

    Prepare the Candied Bacon

Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove, drain on paper towels, and chop into bite-sized pieces.

  6. 6

    Slice the Red Onion

Thinly slice the red onion and set aside.

  7. 7

    Prepare the Avocado Ranch Dressing

If using store-bought dressing, simply shake well. If making homemade, blend ripe avocado with ranch ingredients until smooth.

Assembly

  1. 8

    Combine the Ingredients

In the large bowl with spring mix, gently add the halved cherry tomatoes, sliced hard-boiled eggs, crumbled gorgonzola, chopped candied bacon, and sliced red onion.

  2. 9

    Dress the Salad

Drizzle the avocado ranch dressing over the assembled salad and toss gently to combine all ingredients without crushing the eggs.

  3. 10

    Serve

Divide the salad into individual plates or serve directly from the bowl. Enjoy your Full Pan Cobb Salad!
