Brisket Preparation

Prepare the Brisket
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).

Season the Brisket
In a small bowl, mix together smoked paprika, brown sugar, black pepper, and salt. Rub this mixture all over the brisket.

Sear the Brisket
In a large skillet, heat a little oil over medium-high heat. Sear the brisket on all sides until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side.

Braised Cooking
Pour the beef broth into the pan. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and braise in the oven for about 4 hours, or until the brisket is tender.

Shred the Brisket
Remove the brisket from the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes. Then shred it using two forks.

Mix with BBQ Sauce
Mix the shredded brisket with BBQ sauce until well-coated.

Prepare the Slaw
In a large bowl, shred the green cabbage and grate the carrots.

Make the Dressing
In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper.

Pour the dressing over the cabbage and carrots. Toss until well mixed and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
