Method

Burger Patty

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patty

In a bowl, season the ground beef with salt and pepper to taste. Form it into a patty about 1 inch thick.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patty

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the beef patty for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired doneness.

  3. 3

    Melt the Cheese

In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of American cheese on top of the patty. Cover with a lid to help the cheese melt.

Toppings

  1. 4

    Prepare the Toppings

While the patty is cooking, slice the pickles and onions. Wash and dry the lettuce leaf.

  2. 5

    Assemble the Burger

Once the patty is cooked and the cheese is melted, place the patty on a hamburger bun. Top it with lettuce, pickles, and onion slices.

Garage Sauce

  1. 6

    Mix the Sauce

In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and hot sauce. Mix well until smooth.

  2. 7

    Add Sauce to Burger

Spread a generous amount of the Garage Sauce on the top bun of the burger.
