Hamburger Instructions

  1. 1

    Toast the bun

Split the egg bun and spread 1 teaspoon of butter on the cut sides. Toast in a skillet over medium heat, cut-side down, until lightly golden (about 1–2 minutes).

  2. 2

    Prepare and cook the patty

Season the beef patty with 0.5 teaspoon salt and 0.25 teaspoon black pepper. Heat a skillet and add 1 teaspoon cooking oil. Cook the patty for about 3–4 minutes per side for medium, flipping once. Let rest 1–2 minutes after cooking.

  3. 3

    Prep toppings

Rinse and pat dry 2 lettuce leaves. Slice 2 tomatoes into ~1/4 inch rounds. Slice 3 dill pickle spears into thin slices.

  4. 4

    Assemble the burger

Spread 2 tablespoons secret sauce on the inside of the top bun. On the bottom bun, layer the lettuce, followed by tomato slices. Top with the cooked patty and pickle slices.

  5. 5

    Serve

Place the top bun over the stack and serve immediately while warm. Enjoy with a side of fries or a salad if desired.
