Brewing

    Set up a pour-over cone with a filter on a mug or carafe.

    Add 2 tablespoons ground coffee to the filter.

    Bloom the coffee

    Pour about 60 ml hot water (just off boil) over the grounds to saturate evenly; let it bloom for 30 seconds.

    Slowly pour the remaining 180 ml hot water in a steady circular motion until the total water poured reaches 240 ml.

    Remove the filter, discard the grounds, and keep the brewed coffee in the mug.

Optional Add-ins

    If using add-ins, measure 60 ml milk or creamer, 2 tsp sugar, and 0.5 tsp cinnamon. Stir into the brewed coffee to taste.

Serving

    Pour the finished coffee into a warm mug and enjoy immediately.
