Preparation
Brewing the Tea
1. Boil the Water
In a kettle, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over medium-high heat.
2. Add Tea Leaves
Once the water reaches a rolling boil, remove it from heat and let it cool for about 1-2 minutes. This will prevent the tea from becoming bitter. Add 2 tablespoons of jasmine green tea leaves to the hot water.
3. Steep the Tea
Cover the kettle or teapot and let the tea steep for about 3-5 minutes, depending on your taste preference. The longer you steep, the stronger the flavor will be.
4. Strain the Tea
After steeping, strain the tea into cups using a fine mesh strainer to remove the tea leaves.
