Method
Prepare the Wings
Clean the Wings
Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and baking powder.
Coat the Wings
Toss the chicken wings in the dry mixture until they are well-coated.
Fry the Wings
Heat the Oil
In a large deep pot or fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).
Fry the Wings
Carefully add the coated wings to the hot oil in batches, ensuring not to overcrowd the pot. Fry for about 10-12 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
Drain the Wings
Using a slotted spoon, remove the wings from the oil and let them drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
Prepare the Sauce
Mix Sauce Ingredients
In a small bowl, combine the buffalo sauce, barbecue sauce, honey, soy sauce, garlic powder, and chili powder. Stir until well mixed.
Toss and Serve
Toss the Wings
In a large bowl, add the fried wings and pour the sauce over them. Toss until the wings are evenly coated with the sauce.
Serve
Serve the wings immediately with your choice of dipping sauces or sides.
