Method

Dough Preparation

  1. 1

    Activate Yeast

In a small bowl, combine warm water (about 110°F) and active dry yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.

  2. 2

    Mix Dough Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour and salt. Create a well in the center and add the activated yeast mixture and olive oil.

  3. 3

    Knead the Dough

Mix until a dough forms. Transfer to a lightly floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

  4. 4

    Let Dough Rise

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Topping and Grilling

  1. 5

    Prepare Toppings

While the dough is rising, slice the mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, and Italian sausage. If using raw sausage, cook it in a skillet until browned and crumbly.

  2. 6

    Preheat Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using a pizza stone, place it on the grill to heat up.

  3. 7

    Shape the Dough

Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface to your desired thickness.

  4. 8

    Oil the Dough

Brush one side of the dough with olive oil. Place the oiled side down on the grill.

  5. 9

    Add Toppings

Grill the dough for about 2-3 minutes until grill marks appear. Flip the dough, then layer roasted tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, Italian sausage, and vinegar peppers. Season with salt and pepper.

  6. 10

    Finish Grilling

Close the grill lid and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  7. 11

    Serve

Remove the pizza from the grill, let it cool for a minute, then slice and serve hot.
