Method

Dough Preparation

  1. 1

    Activate Yeast

In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and active dry yeast. Stir gently and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.

  2. 2

    Mix Dough

In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add the activated yeast mixture and olive oil. Mix until a dough starts to form.

  3. 3

    Knead Dough

Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

  4. 4

    Let Dough Rise

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Pizza Assembly

  1. 5

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while it preheats.

  2. 6

    Roll Out Dough

Once the dough has risen, punch it down and turn it out onto a floured surface. Roll it out into a 15-inch circle.

  3. 7

    Add Sauce

Transfer the rolled-out dough to a pizza peel or baking sheet. Spread pizza sauce evenly over the surface, leaving a small border around the edges.

  4. 8

    Add Cheese and Toppings

Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce. Then, layer on the pepperoni, cooked sausage, sliced meatballs, diced ham, and crumbled bacon.

  5. 9

    Bake Pizza

Carefully slide the pizza onto the preheated pizza stone or place the baking sheet in the oven. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.

  6. 10

    Slice and Serve

Once baked, remove the pizza from the oven. Let it cool for a couple of minutes, then slice into wedges and serve hot.
