Chicken Preparation
- 1
Prepare Chicken
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Season the boneless chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.
- 2
Bread the Chicken
Set up a breading station: Place the flour in one shallow dish, beat the eggs in a second shallow dish, and place the breadcrumbs in a third shallow dish. Dredge each chicken breast first in flour, then dip in the beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- 3
Cook the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the breaded chicken breasts and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish.
- 4
Add Sauce and Cheese
Pour tomato sauce evenly over the chicken breasts and sprinkle with shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese.
- 5
Bake
Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Pasta Preparation
- 6
Cook Linguini
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the linguini and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes.
