Pancake Preparation

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.

Combine Mixtures
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined. Do not overmix; a few lumps are okay.

Add Blueberries
Gently fold in the fresh blueberries into the batter.
Cooking Pancakes

Preheat Pan
Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease with cooking spray or a small amount of butter.

Cook Pancakes
Pour about 1/3 cup of batter onto the heated skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look set, about 2-3 minutes.

Flip and Finish Cooking
Carefully flip the pancakes and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes on the other side, until golden brown. Repeat with remaining batter.
Preparing Optional Sides

Cook Bacon or Sausage
In a separate skillet, cook bacon or sausage over medium heat until crispy and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes for bacon or 8-10 minutes for sausage links.

Serve the pancakes warm with bacon or sausage on the side. Optionally, drizzle with maple syrup or add extra blueberries on top.
