Method
Burger Patties
- 1
Prepare the Beef Patties
In a mixing bowl, combine 0.5 pounds of ground beef with 0.5 tsp of salt and 0.5 tsp of black pepper. Mix gently to avoid compacting the meat too much.
- 2
Form the Patties
Divide the beef mixture into two equal portions, about 4 oz each, and shape them into patties. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent them from puffing up while cooking.

Cook the Patties
In the same skillet, cook the beef patties over medium-high heat for about 3-4 minutes on one side. Flip, then top each patty with a slice of cheddar cheese and continue to cook for another 3-4 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
Assembling the Burger

Assemble the Burger
Toast the burger buns on the skillet or grill until lightly golden. On the bottom half of each bun, layer the cooked patty with melted cheddar cheese, followed by 2 slices of crispy bacon, a generous portion of onion straws, a drizzle of BBQ sauce, and some pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.
