Method

Salad Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Romaine Lettuce

Wash the Romaine lettuce thoroughly under cold water. Dry it using a salad spinner or by patting it with paper towels. Chop the lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place them in a large salad bowl.

  2. 2

    Add Meats and Cheese

Slice the salami and ham into thin strips. Cube the provolone cheese into small pieces. Add the salami, ham, and provolone cheese to the bowl with the lettuce.

  3. 3

    Chop Vegetables

Dice the tomatoes into small pieces and slice the roasted red peppers into strips. Add both the diced tomatoes and the roasted red peppers to the salad bowl.

  4. 4

    Add Olives

Add the olives to the salad bowl, mixing everything together gently to combine.

Dressing Preparation

  1. 5

    Make the Italian Dressing

In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, red wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, and dried oregano until well combined.

  2. 6

    Season the Dressing

Add salt and black pepper to the dressing to taste. Adjust the seasoning as needed.

  3. 7

    Serve

Serve the salad in individual bowls with the homemade Italian dressing on the side.
