Taco Fillings
Method
Preparation
- 1
Cook the Meat
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or turkey until browned. Drain excess fat.
- 2
Add Seasoning
Stir in the taco seasoning and follow package instructions, usually adding water and simmering for a few minutes.
- 3
Prepare the Fillings
While the meat is cooking, prepare the taco toppings: chop lettuce, dice tomatoes, shred cheese, and slice jalapeños.
- 4
Assemble the Tacos
For croissant tacos, slice the croissants open and fill with the meat and toppings. For tortilla wraps, place the meat and toppings in a tortilla and wrap it up. For lettuce wraps, use large lettuce leaves to hold the fillings.
- 5
Serve
Plate the tacos or wraps and serve with sour cream on the side.
