Preparation

Cook the Pasta
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Season the Shrimp
In a medium bowl, combine the shrimp with smoked paprika, ancho chile powder, cayenne pepper, and salt. Mix well to coat the shrimp evenly.

Cook the Shrimp
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they are pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

Make the Alfredo Sauce
In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes to thicken slightly.

Combine Ingredients
Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and black pepper into the sauce until smooth. Add the cooked pasta and toss to coat. Finally, add the cooked shrimp and mix until everything is well combined.
