Preparation Steps
- 1
Chill the Glass
Begin by chilling your cocktail glass. You can do this by filling it with ice water and setting it aside while you prepare the cocktail.
- 2
Combine Ingredients
In a mixing glass, add 1 oz of gin, 1 oz of sweet vermouth, and 1 oz of Campari.
- 3
Add Ice
Fill the mixing glass with ice cubes to the top, ensuring that the ingredients are well chilled.
- 4
Stir the Mixture
Using a bar spoon, stir the mixture for about 30 seconds until well chilled and diluted.
- 5
Strain into Glass
Discard the ice water from your cocktail glass. Strain the cocktail mixture into the chilled glass using a strainer.
- 6
Garnish
Take a piece of orange peel and twist it over the cocktail to release its oils. Garnish the drink by placing the peel on the rim of the glass.
