Cheese Mixture Preparation

Mix Cheese Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan cheese, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined. Set aside.
Meat Sauce Preparation

Cook Ground Beef
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.

Add Marinara Sauce
Stir in the marinara sauce and Italian seasoning. Season with salt to taste. Let the sauce simmer for 10 minutes.

Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Layer Ingredients
In a 9x13 inch baking dish, spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom. Place 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce. Spread half of the cheese mixture over the noodles, then top with a third of the remaining meat sauce. Repeat the layering process, ending with noodles topped with the remaining meat sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese.

Bake
Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Cool and Serve
Remove from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
