Prepare the Ingredients
Start by washing the heirloom tomatoes and fresh basil leaves under cold running water. Pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel. Slice the heirloom tomatoes into thick rounds (about 1/4 inch thick).

Slice the Mozzarella
Cut the fresh mozzarella into thick slices (about 1/4 inch thick), similar in thickness to the tomato slices.
Assembly

Layer the Salad
On a large serving platter, alternate layers of sliced heirloom tomatoes and mozzarella slices. Start with a layer of tomatoes, followed by a layer of mozzarella, and continue until all ingredients are used.

Add Basil
Tuck fresh basil leaves between the layers of tomatoes and mozzarella. You can also sprinkle some on top for garnish.
Dressing

Prepare the Dressing
In a small bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar glaze and olive oil. Add salt and black pepper to taste. Adjust seasoning according to your preference.

Once the salad is assembled, drizzle the prepared balsamic vinaigrette over the entire salad, ensuring an even coverage.
