Burger Patties

Toppings

Burger Buns

Method

Preparing the Burger Patties

  1. 1

    Mix the Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until evenly combined.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties about 3/4 inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking.

Cooking the Patties

  1. 3

    Heat the Grill or Skillet

Preheat your grill or a skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. 4

    Cook the Patties

Place the patties on the hot grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip.

  3. 5

    Add Cheese

After flipping, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty. Cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C) and the cheese is melted.

Assembling the Burgers

  1. 6

    Toast the Buns

While the patties are cooking, you can toast the brioche buns on the grill or in a separate skillet until golden brown.

  2. 7

    Layer the Ingredients

On the bottom half of each toasted bun, layer lettuce, a cooked patty with melted cheese, tomato slices, pickles, red onion slices, ketchup, and mustard.

  3. 8

    Complete the Burger

Place the top half of the bun on each burger and press down gently. Serve immediately.
