Cooking Instructions
Prepare the Ahi Tuna
Season the Ahi tuna fillets with salt and black pepper on both sides.
Coat with Sesame Seeds
Spread sesame seeds on a plate and press each fillet into the seeds to coat both sides evenly.
Heat the Pan
In a skillet, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat until hot.
Sear the Tuna
Place the sesame-encrusted tuna fillets in the skillet and sear for about 1-2 minutes on each side, or until the outside is golden brown and the inside remains rare.
Serve
Remove the fillets from the skillet and let them rest for a minute before slicing. Serve with fresh ginger, a dollop of wasabi, and drizzle with sesame dressing.
