Stuffed Banana Peppers
Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Banana Peppers
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Carefully slice the tops off the banana peppers and remove the seeds and membranes. Set aside.
- 2
Make the Cheese Filling
In a large bowl, mix together the cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- 3
Stuff the Peppers
Fill each banana pepper with the cheese mixture, pressing down gently to pack it in.
- 4
Bake the Peppers
Spread 1 cup of red pasta sauce in the bottom of a baking dish. Place the stuffed banana peppers on top and cover with the remaining red sauce. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the peppers are tender and the cheese is bubbly.
- 5
Serve with Crostini
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Serve the stuffed banana peppers hot with crostini on the side for dipping into the sauce.
