Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Stout Steak Sauce

In a saucepan, simmer the Guinness stout over medium heat until reduced by half. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside, leaving the grease in the pan.

  3. 3

    Sauté Onions

In the same skillet, add the sliced onion and sauté until caramelized, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat.

  4. 4

    Make the Burger Patties

In a bowl, mix the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Form into 4 patties.

  5. 5

    Cook the Burgers

In the skillet, cook the burger patties over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness.

  6. 6

    Add Cheese and Assemble

During the last minute of cooking, top each patty with shredded cheddar cheese. Once melted, assemble the burgers on buns with sautéed onions, crispy bacon, and stout steak sauce.

  7. 7

    Serve

Serve the burgers hot with your choice of sides.
