Preparation and Assembly

Prepare the Haddock
In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Dredge the haddock fillets in the mixture until fully coated.

Fry the Haddock
Heat oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat. Carefully add the coated haddock to the hot oil and fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Prepare the Tacos
Warm the corn tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat until pliable. Place a fried haddock fillet on each tortilla.

Assemble the Tacos
Top each taco with a handful of lettuce, a scoop of coleslaw, and pickled red onion. Drizzle with spicy aioli.

Serve immediately while hot, with extra spicy aioli on the side.
