Fish Fry Ingredients

Method

Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Fish

Rinse the fish fillets under cold water and pat dry with a paper towel.

  2. 2

    Make the Batter

In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, and black pepper. Gradually whisk in the beer until the batter is smooth.

  3. 3

    Season the Batter

Divide the batter into three bowls and mix in the cajun seasoning, italian seasoning, and lemon pepper seasoning into each respective bowl.

  4. 4

    Heat the Oil

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

  5. 5

    Fry the Fish

Dip each fish fillet into the desired batter and carefully place in the hot oil. Fry for 4-5 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  6. 6

    Cook the Fries

Prepare the frozen French fries according to package instructions until they are crispy.

  7. 7

    Serve

Plate the fried fish along with fries, macaroni salad, and coleslaw. Enjoy!
