Method

Nuggets

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Cut the chicken breast into small, bite-sized pieces.

  2. 2

    Set Up Breading Station

In three separate bowls, set up the breading station: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

  3. 3

    Bread the Nuggets

Dredge each piece of chicken in flour, then dip in the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture. Ensure each piece is well coated.

  4. 4

    Heat Oil

In a deep frying pan, heat oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  5. 5

    Fry the Nuggets

Carefully add the breaded chicken pieces to the hot oil in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 4-5 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.

Fries

  1. 6

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin strips to resemble fries.

  2. 7

    Soak the Fries

Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

  3. 8

    Dry the Fries

Drain the soaked potatoes and pat them dry with paper towels.

  4. 9

    Heat Oil

In a deep frying pan, heat oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  5. 10

    Fry the Fries

Carefully add the drained potato strips to the hot oil in batches. Fry for about 5-7 minutes or until golden and crispy. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil. Season with salt and black pepper immediately.
